Antique Round Gilt Gold Brass Apollo Studios NY Vanity Powder/Trinket Box.
 
Beautiful Round Powder/Trinket box is highly decorated brass w/ filigree and faceted glass.
Nice floral designs in ornate filigree. Hand painted portrait in the top finial. 
 
Glass base in good condition.
 
Box with normal wear and some discoloration on top finial.
 
Apollo Studios of New York was a contemporary to Tiffany & Co and produced some of the finest metal and brass objects d'Art during it's years of operation 1909-1922. Known for exquisite detailing and this trinket box. 
 
Box is stamped on the bottom APOLLO 3247. 
Box Measures 4 1/2" overall dimension x 3 1/2" high to the top finial or handle
